I had all sorts of questions, all kinds of things I was curious about. What kind of content did J. K. Rowling include in Pottermore? What’s excluded? How do you navigate the chapters? What will Olivanders be like? Does the Sorting Hat actually sing? I could go on and on. I was eager to get started.

Penguin vs Amazon – Book Fights Reach Libraries
20 FebPreviously on Penguin vs. Amazon, Amazon cut prices for Penguin’s new releases of ebooks down to a discount price of $9.99. Penguin retaliated on April 1st by refusing to let Amazon carry any of its new ebook releases anymore. Amazon counterattacked by making those same books, in hardback form, that $9.99 price. Other companies had long since come to agreements with Amazon on pricing deals, but Penguin was stubborn. Eventually, Penguin too came to an agreement, and all seemed finally at peace. The peace was tenuous, however, and all knew that it would only be a matter of time.

TSTC Publishing Launches Kickstarter Campaign
3 NovSkeletal specters. A red-eyed wild man. Devilish witches. Ghost stories abound in almost every town. Texas towns, it seems, are no exception. These are the stories that make up TSTC Publishing’s latest book, Cotton Bales, Goatmen & Witches: Legends from the Heart of Texas. Bradley T. Turner compiled the stories with photographs by Mark Burdine. The book, set for a Nov. 22 release, is part of the Kickstarter project, a new form of online fundraising.
